In order to be able to make the design of the trivet so minimalistic, the 3 curved wooden legs are glued together by hand and then carefully sanded. The aesthetics of the stretched form is timeless and makes a contribution to modern table culture! A sensual accessory that is a pleasure to hold in your hands.
Our wooden trivets are available in two different sizes or in a set with both sizes. The large wooden trivet has the dimensions 29 x 29 x 1cm and is ideal for large pots, pans, casserole dishes, bowls and jugs!
Our trivet is made of molded birch wood or plywood. On the one hand, laminated wood is very thin and therefore conserves resources. On the other hand, it is also very resilient. The special thing about laminated wood is that it can be glued “excitingly” in the truest sense of the word. This resulted in this elegant and functional form.
Clemens Haufe designed this super beautiful wooden trivets. After completing their studies in 2007, he and Sven Deutloff founded the design office WESTOSTERON for interior and product design in Dresden.
