These preserving rings (74 x 86 mm or 94 x 108mm) are suitable for all jars with a round rim with a diameter of 8cm or 10cm.

Many sealing rings are made of synthetic plastics made from petroleum. This natural material contains no plasticizers or other harmful additives and is perfectly suitable for food!
Recommendation: It is best to boil the alarm rings with vinegar before use (especially before you want to preserve food) in order to neutralize any slight rubber smell or abrasion particles on the surface. The natural material is washable and durable, but you should check the Weck preserving rings carefully for brittle material and cracks before use. A safe closure of the jars is only guaranteed by perfect preserving rings!
